My Screenshot

Reflection:

My screenshot is of a paper that I was working on for one of my classes. When I see my paper as a screenshot, it makes writing seem so easy. When sitting in front of my blank word document, creating all that I did seems so difficult. As I was writing my paper there was so much hard work and thought put in, that you don't see when looking at a screenshot. Seeing my work as a picture makes it seem so much more removed, and I can't appreciate all of the hard work that was put itnto it. Composing in digital spaces is much different than traditional composing. Digitally, composing could be as simple as writing your friend a message on facebook, or typing something like this blog. Traditionally, composing seemes more formal and time consuming, such as writing a term paper, or essay. Even though digital composition seems more informal and easy, there is still that same about of thought and work that is put in. The only way that we can better understand the digital composing process is to practice! Getting practice and experience composing things digitally will teach you so much more than someone telling you how to do it, reading a book about it, or something similar. Getting in there and just giving it a try will show you so much you didn't know, and the more you try it, the more you will learn. Digital composing, as a whole, is becoming more and more popular in today's world, and as we progress as a society more and more will be discovered about this new art.
